After the success of this event, LongShot and BBT continued on to Jindrichuv Hradec in The Czech Republic. Here, under the guidance of museum curator Vladislav Burian and members of the Czech Army their lenses found crash sites and interviews to support a second film on one of the last B-24 missions of WWII. This project is currently in post production and expected to be released during the 2008 calendar year.
Within the next few months, BBTFilms will release two additional projects:
The Terrible Meek– a one-hour dramatic narrative on the ethics of war is in final post-production for sound, music and color correction – it will be available for syndication just after the first of the year. Air dates, as they are scheduled will be listed here on the BBTFilms website.
In Focus: The Hollywood Lens of Murray Garrett - a look at the life and work of the man who added the original flashbulbs of glamour to the image of Hollywood during the industry's Golden Age - Murray Garrett. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently hosted a gala celebration in Garrett’s honor to acknowledge the donation of his vast collection of photographs to the Academy archives. The project will be ready for air shortly after February 1st, 2008.
Sample clips of all three projects are available for viewing under the ‘media’ tab here on the BBTFilms website.
Currently in development at BBT are additional installments of the In Focus: series as well as a continuation of documentary films looking at the effect WWII had on the lives of those who fought.
